update
Not much new besides a few more hundred rockets and more people dead. Pardon me, i’m referring to the dead in Lebanon. We are a bit luckier.
Surprisingly enough, on saturday in the village i didn’t talk much with my parents about the war, but instead had a few words with Shy about it, and also dug a bit into some info regarding the rockets that are flying around or might fly around eventually.
I think it’s time to leave this entry to get updated from time to time and start other entries on top.
People are getting killed. The goals won’t be reached. More people are going to get killed. It’s getting just another "South Lebanon issue", with the exception that everybody living in Haifa and north up can’t really live their lives normally.

It’s pretty fashionable to hate israel these days.
However, i can’t get rid of the feeling that the military actions entitled "oh just give us one more week" will actually lead to anything.
Yes, we are under attack.
But what exactly are we trying to achieve? Getting knee-deep into Lebanon again?

I don’t want to post pictures.
I don’t want to write "This man died while doing this and that".
Mourning over ‘your’ losses is a most natural thing to do, but i cannot get rid of the fact that there’s also a pathetic side to it and it does bother me a lot.
And i don’t really know what’s gonna be, if i’m crying this much about 1 dead, how am i gonna cry about 50 dead?
"Hashem Ishmor", is currently all i wanna say.

So the guy stands in the middle of his demolished house.
"Yeah, this room could use a new paintjob…" he says, in a rather humorous manner, and continues saying to his wife, smiling: "unbelievable…50cm closer and they’d be talking to our remains now"
The ball in my throat turned to tears.

Sheffi: Dovav, what’s going on in Carmiel?
Dovav: 4 impacts ’till the last
Sheffi: Be careful!

Rockets flying in the north.
Oh, i’ve sure missed those phrases; "Real war in the north".
I’m glad i don’t have a TV. My eyes would be pasted all over it.
